    Description

    "Rome Sculpture I" is part of Mattia Paoli's new series of photographs inspired by classical-style sculptures.

    The artist in his photographic section includes reportage subjects, abstract and realistic shots. He uses digital and analog cameras including a Canon 500D digital model and two film cameras: a Yashica FR-I and a HOLGA 120 CGFN.
    Mattia Paoli captures architectural elements and natural vistas in his shots, taking care of framing and enhancing curvilinear and straight forms in the surroundings.
    The importance of color contrast is a dominant feature in his photos, maintaining a high degree of fidelity with the actual subjects.His creativity also results in special camera calibrations with subsequent artistic developments in the darkroom.

    The author draws inspiration from the study of Pop Art and specifically from the processes of graphic image processing carried out by artist Andy Wharol.

    Signed on the back by hand and numbered by the author on the reverse.

    The work will be printed on canvas with a protective film from deterioration. It will be delivered rolled on a tube.

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
